John Deere makes ExactEmerge row-unit technology available to more producers by extending crop compatibility to hill drop cotton. Hill drop is a cropping practice where three to four seeds are planted together in the seed trench to help the plants emerge through crusty soil. The ExactEmerge hill drop cotton bowl and accompanying parts make it possible for cotton growers who use the hill drop cropping practice to adopt ExactEmerge planting technology.
