Sokkia professional tripods are produced using birch wood and fiberglass construction. They feature a ⅝" x 11 universal screw for instrument mount and either a quick clamp (QC) or twist locking mechanism to lock the legs. They feature hardened steel points, and also include a heavy duty carrying strap.
