For over a decade, many contractors have trusted the original QuickFire connection system to efficiently change HDD tooling from pilot to pullback. Building upon that legacy, Vermeer has created the QuickFire HD connection system. The QuickFire HD system offers new features for maximum reliability and ease of use. This system uses two heavy-duty roll pins for collar retention (compared to the threaded bolt collar retention design of the original QuickFire system design) for security, as well as allowing the collar to be assembled at any orientation. * Vermeer original design using an industry-unique heat-treatment process for durability and reliability. * Manufactured with durable, high-alloy 4340 material. * Available in three sizes for drilling rigs rated up to 5,500 ft-lb (7,457 Nm) of torque. * Vermeer will continue to support both QuickFire and QuickFire HD connection system platforms, but they are not cross-compatible.
