The Petzl SmD Carabiner is a compact asymmetrical aluminum carabiner recommended for workers looking to reduce weight to a minimum. The D shape makes it especially suitable for attaching devices, and the Screw-Lock action is secure but easy to use. The interior design of the SmD has rounded corners and edges to limit the risk of having a catch point and facilitates rotation of the carabiner lock system to avoid any snagging.
